Dada Center Table

Dada Center Table

The DADA coffee table needs no introduction. At first glance, it transports us to the 50s. With a strong connection with Scandinavian design, traits that have inspired Gisela Simas since the beginning of her career, DADA has straight lines, simple shapes and neutral colors.

In the 20th century, the Scandinavia region developed a design that brings brightness and clarity into the environment, in response to the long periods of rigorous cold and darkness that these countries face during the northern European winter.
Scandinavians believe that everything that is part of everyday life should be both beautiful and functional. Thus, focusing on practicality, Nordic design uses the concept that less is more: straight lines and simple shapes.
Wood, a material widely used in this region, is a fundamental part of this design. Wood warms and has soul.
The name DADA refers to the nickname of her sister Daniela, source of inspiration and example of dedication to work." by Gisela Simas.
