Fantastic Studio Di Design

Sixteen years after their first meeting, at the Superior School of Industrial Design in Rio de Janeiro, the Rio de Janeiro designer couple Fernanda and Leo Mangiavacchi founded, in 2009, Fantastico Studio Di Design.

Initially headquartered in São Paulo, transferred to Rio de Janeiro in 2011, the duo's office is responsible for signing high quality projects with technical rigor. In his creations it is possible to find solutions that combine simplicity and expressiveness.

Fernanda holds a degree in Industrial Design from ESDI (Superior School of Industrial Design) in Rio de Janeiro, with a specialization in Furniture Design from UDESC (State University of Santa Catarina) in Florianópolis.

In a 10-year career, he worked as a designer in Rio de Janeiro and other states such as São Paulo and Santa Catarina. Among the activities carried out, in addition to furniture development, are works with advertising and illustration, art direction and creation.

​

Graduated in Industrial Design from the ISIA (Istituto Superiore per le Industrie Artistiche) in Rome, Leo also has a specialization in Product Creation from the UPC (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya) in Barcelona.

​

With international experience, specifically in the cities of Barcelona and Milan, Leo has won awards such as the Medalla ADI/FAD and the contest “El Reloj del 2000”. On the market since 1997, it has already developed products for companies such as Vitra, Flos, Hansgrohe, Guzzini and Kartell.

For Fantastico Studio Di Design, Fernanda and Leo create projects permeated by creativity, but adapted to the reality of the contemporary market and its demands. Together they produce design with their feet on the ground and their heads in the clouds.
